Kaveh Mahjoob is the President and co-founder of B.I. Resources,
Inc. and has over 15 years of extensive experience in business applications
development. During this time, he has defined and built software
packages for start up and mature software companies, managed small
and large product divisions in multiple cities as well as worked
in product management/marketing and business development roles for
several ERP and Business Intelligence software vendors.
Kaveh has worked in a variety of product life cycle roles since
1990. These roles include:
Citicorp; (Development lead for reporting solutions)
Platinum Software Corporation (now Epicor Software); an ERP vendor
(Director of R&D)
System Software Associates; an ERP vendor (Director of financial
solutions)
FRx Software Corporation (now a Microsoft Division); provider of
financial reporting and analytics (VP of Product Division)
Q Strategies; a start-up developing Business Intelligence and Analytics
solutions (VP of Product Division)
CapitalStream Software Corporation; a Financial Services front-end
origination and business analytics software provider (VP of Product
Division)
During the years at FRx Software, Kaveh led the product definition
and development of FRx financial reporting software that is the
financial reporting standard in the mid. market. Today, FRx has
more than 110,000 corporate sites customers and supports 45 financial
systems of 25 vendors.
Later on Kaveh developed a portal-based business KPI and measurement
product concept and joined Q Strategies. There, the product (Q-Metrics)
was developed and launched to the market.
In 2001, Kaveh joined WiredCapital (now CapitalStream). WiredCapital
then acquired the rights to Q-Metrics and began providing business
analytical solutions for the financial services industry. CapitalStream’s
core product line is a front-end origination software for leasing,
loan and other banking transactions.
Additionally, Kaveh has provided consulting services in the area
of market research, business planning, product white papers and
competitive analysis for several leading Business Intelligence vendors.
Kaveh holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (1984) and
an MBA in Management (1989).
